Kalbe's Imperial - Accordeon - Diatonic Button Accordion Squeezebox

A true Antique! Made in Germany - circa 1880s - early 1900s (pre acquisition by Hohner)- Approx 130-140 years old! Plays pretty well especially for its age!
Favoured amongst sailors for those long voyages (check out the anchor logo!)
All exterior parts appear to be original except for one replaced hand strap. All 4 stops are fully functional (albeit a bit stiff) on both blow-draw.
Two Chord - Bass Buttons also fully functional on blow-draw. Bellows release works as it should.
The bellows seem pretty airtight but there is a minor leak through some of the keys due to misalignment/flattened out leather pads. Retensioning the key arms would likely solve the issue but ideally a few keys will need new leather pads. There is a minor reed rattle on one of the bass voices (likely due to a loose reed).
Overall this is excellent candidate for minor restoration to have a true and fully functioning 19th century sailors squeezebox!
